The full bathroom is where everyone showers, shaves, and prepares for their day. The full bathroom includes a tub/shower combo and a larger vanity. These bathrooms are usually situated near bedrooms and are less typical for guests to use. The cost for a full bathroom remodel is somewhat varied. They can be relatively easy to update since they have limited space and selection options.

Setting Your Budget for a Medium Full Bathroom Remodel

$18k – $25k Bath Facelift

If you want to give your full bathroom an update without going for a full remodel, stick to the low-cost budget. You’ll replace your bathtub with an updated steel unit and fiberglass surround. A semi-custom vanity with a single unit sink/countertop will be easy to clean and maintain. Modest flooring and a fresh coat of paint will complete this remodel.

$25k – $31k Bathroom Remodel

The mid-range is the most popular for a full bathroom remodel. You can surround your bathtub with tile, choose a custom vanity, and go with a mid-grade slab countertop. New flooring and baseboard will go a long way to changing the look and feel of the bathroom. Top it all off with a classy light fixture.

$32k – $45k Gut and Start Fresh

If you want to start over and make your full bathroom truly fit in with your home and your style, then the high-end budget is for you. A brand new custom vanity and stone slab countertop accented with a beautiful sink and faucet combo. An extra deep tub with tile surround will complement the new tile floors perfectly. Wood wainscoting and a high end light fixture will bring it all together to make for a gorgeous full bathroom.

Choose The Remodel Budget That Fits You

The cost for a full bathroom remodel above are base prices to give you a working idea of what you can expect your remodel to cost. These are not hard-and-fast prices given as gospel by North Light Builders. Use these numbers as a starting point to decide both what you want to do and what you can afford to do.

If you want to give your bathroom a little facelift but still have kiddos running around, then vinyl flooring can be an excellent option while staying in a low-budget range. However, if you plan on turning your full bath into a mini-oasis for overnight guests to enjoy, then the mid and high-end budgets are going to be more inline with your plans.
